Role title

Talent Development Coordinator (FTC)

Your role

The Talent Development Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and logistics support of Talent Development programmes and processes, and the administration of Talent Development technology and tools.

The ideal candidate will have experience in administration, coordination and logistics support in a fast-paced environment, have excellent attention to detail, be adaptive to changing priorities and be able to work independently and as part of a team

This role is a 15 month FTC and sits within the Talent Development team which is part of the People Organisation. The position reports into the Talent Development Manager.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide LMS support and administration, including user assistance, course assignments, certification setup and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Coordination of various Talent Development programmes, workshops, and training sessions both in-person and virtually to include room bookings, attendee management, and materials preparation.
  • Maintain accurate training records, including manual updates to grades, upload/import completions, and certificates.
  • Generate and distribute compliance and training reports, including monthly stats and ad hoc requests.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as PO & invoicing requests from partners and suppliers, submitting DAA online escort pass applications, ordering catering and managing swag inventory.
  • Send post-training evaluations, including surveys and tracking feedback.
  • Triage and respond to queries from employees/managers, delivering excellent customer service to and escalating issues appropriately when needed.
  • Act as point of contact (POC) for all training coordination matter
  • Support the Talent Development team and collaborate with the broader People team on transformation initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration by ensuring smooth execution of Talent Development initiatives across departments
  • Guide administrators and external partners on system tasks such as course setup, user enrolment, and profile updates, etc.
  • Troubleshoot common IT issues related to training delivery both in-person and virtual, i.e. screenshare, projecting presentations, etc.

 

Your qualifications and key criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, Aviation or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to speak and write in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Essential competencies/skills:

  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Demonstrates self-awareness, resilience and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Ability to achieve high levels of productivity through personal effort, taking responsibility to ensure tasks are completed on time and with high quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to learn new technology
  • Familiarity with setting up A/V for presentations and troubleshooting if required

Desirable Criteria

  • Comfortable with public speaking and/or facilitation
  • Familiarity with HR technology and tools
  • Familiarity with aviation industry regulations and safety training requirements
