Role title

Senior Programme Manager - Strategic Property and Facilities

Your role

As a Senior Programme Manager - Strategic Property and Facilities, you will be primarily responsible for leading the development and implementation of a strategic accommodation plan that address our corporate and operational requirements. Our Corporate Affairs Department helps us to drive Aer Lingus’ ambition by managing and enhancing the airline’s reputation, ensuring strong relationships with key stakeholders, navigating regulatory environments, and supporting strategic communications.

 

Your responsibilities as a Senior Programme Manager – Strategic Property and Facilities will include:

  • Strategic review and management of current offices in line with Aer Lingus growth plans and changing needs of our hybrid working model.
  • Drive best practice solutions ensuring internal customer needs are delivered in a collaborative and innovative manner, and in a manner that supports employee engagement and our PVMV.
  • Managing delivery of carbon neutral office transformation agenda across portfolio.
  • Working with Operations to deliver future operational accommodation solutions.
  • Driving and implementing facility improvements where needed and taking the lead on relevant projects.
  • Budget responsibility for rental, rates and services across Aer Lingus accommodation.
  • Overall responsibility for all Aer Lingus accommodation including offices, operational footprint, training centres, hangars etc.
  • Working effectively with key stakeholders and leaders across the company and executing key facilities and real estate actions for Aer Lingus.
  • Managing contractor relationships across all properties in respect of Building lease negotiations and review, and FM service providers.
  • Managing a team to ensure key facilities and office operations activities are co-ordinated across all offices; Ensuring all offices meet the required Building and Fire Safety requirements; Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are facilitated according to each office location.
  • Managing contracting relationships with external cleaning, security agencies and all other office related relationships.
  • Manage transport services including staff shuttle and crew transport.
  • Managing office integrations and office decommissioning as required.

Your qualifications and key criteria

We are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:

  • Must have at least 10 years Property / FM Management experience.
  • Experience working in the commercial property sector is a distinct advantage.
  • Management / leadership experience.
  • Strong finance understanding.
  • Strong commercial negotiation experience.
  • Strong skills in MS Office, Project, Autocad.
  • Experience supporting multinational environments and restricted areas.
  • Applicants must have the ability to manage cross functional stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Eligible to live and work in the EU.
  • Current unrestricted worldwide passport.
  • Provide three verifiable references.
  • Able to pass a five year security background check as this role is based in Dublin.
