Role title
MCC Data Specialist
Your role
As a MCC Data Specialist in the Maintenance & Engineering Department you will provide support to MCC with respect to data management, report management and assistance with development of MCC related dashboards and processes. Our Maintenance & Engineering Department helps us to drive Aer Lingus’ ambition by minimising operational disruption, maintain aircraft availability, achieve high reliability performance, and produce reports and data to aid with ongoing maintenance functions and delay management.
Your responsibilities as a MCC Data Specialist will include:
- MCC data dashboard development and upkeep.
- Delay data reporting.
- Disruption event data management.
- Reporting on premium cabin issues including seats, toilets, galleys, and IFE etc.
- Aircraft Status report preparation and follow up.
- Repetitive defect tracking report preparation and follow up.
- KPI data gathering and preparation.
- Supplier performance tracking and reporting.
- Project Management.
Your qualifications and key criteria
We are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:
- Aeronautical Engineering Graduate or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience developing dashboards using apps such as Power BI, Tableau, or smart sheets tools.
- Experience of AMOS is an advantage.
- Excellent Microsoft Suite skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to develop new procedures and processes.
- Experience working in an aviation Maintenance environment.
- Self-motivated individual with a high level of initiative and commitment.
- Ability to work as part of a team but also demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines and communicate effectively.
- Ability to have a calm measured response to sometimes urgent problem solving.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to provide 2 verifiable references.
- Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5-year background check (or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport).
- A positive attitude with a high level of flexibility and the ability to work on own initiative.
- Willingness to take ownership of a project.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Eligible to live and work in the EU.
- Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.
