Finance Business & Data Analyst
Your role
If you're someone who wants to help design and build a new data environment, loves problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and making data work smarter, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
This is a new role in Finance where the successful applicant will work closely with stakeholders, develop meaningful use cases, and build interactive Power BI dashboards that truly make a difference.
Your responsibilities as a Finance Business & Data Analyst will include:
- Gather and analyse business requirements from finance and wider business teams to inform data-driven solutions.
- Develop use cases for finance data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Build interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance while maintaining reporting best practices.
- Engage with finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to understand reporting needs and drive adoption.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to upskill the finance team in data literacy, reporting, and analytics tools.
- Create comprehensive documentation for finance reporting processes, ensuring consistency and transparency.
Your qualifications and key criteria
- Min Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years’ experience in data analytics, with significant experience in business intelligence or analytical development experience.
- Help bring teams on a journey from an excel based and legacy system mindset to a data literate and data analytics mindset.
- Ability to take on tasks from beginning to end with minimal oversight.
- Be an adaptable multitasker with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
Experience in business analysis, data analytics, and financial reporting. - Strong knowledge in Power BI, dashboard development, and data visualization.
- Ability to present complex data subjects to non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience with SAP.
- Experience in an Agile delivery environment.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to accurately identify expected deliverables from stakeholders.
- Ability to influence at the highest management levels.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, documentation, and training skills.
- Ability to drive finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Eligible to live and work in the EU.
- Current unrestricted worldwide passport.
- Able to pass a 5-year security background check*(or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in the UK).

Desirable criteria
Previous experience in finance transformation.
Good knowledge of SQL, data manipulation, and financial data transformation.
Experience with SAP 4/Hanna, SAP financial reporting and SAP finance data structures.
Knowledge of IBM Cognos and Planning Analytics.
Experience in DataBricks.
Understanding of finance functions (FP&A, Treasury, Reporting).
Hands-on experience in finance project management.
Ability to work with diverse personalities.
Very well organised with an ability to summarise updates regularly.
