Role title
Car Park Administrator (6 Months Fixed Term)
Your role
As a car park administrator, you will be primarily responsible for managing daily operations, parking management, and maintaining efficient systems for smooth operation. Our HR Operations & Service Delivery team helps us drive Aer Lingus’ ambition by ensuring seamless employee support, efficient HR processes, and fostering a positive work environment.
Your responsibilities as a Car Park Administrator will include:
- Ensuring that parking spaces are utilised efficiently, keeping track of the available and occupied spots, and making adjustments if necessary to improve space allocation.
- Assisting customers with parking-related queries, complaints, or issues, ensuring a positive experience for all users of the parking facility.
- Overseeing the operation and maintenance of parking machines, gates, barriers, or ticketing systems, and ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Ensuring that all users of the car park adhere to the parking rules and regulations, such as time limits, payment requirements, and designated parking spots. This may also involve issuing tickets or warnings for violations.
- Tracking usage statistics, financial records, and other operational data to inform decision-making and reporting to management or relevant stakeholders.
- Handling any special requests from customers, such as providing reserved spaces for disabled users, event parking, or accommodating large vehicles.
Your qualifications and key criteria
We are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:
- Previous experience in parking operations or facilities management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, maintain accurate records, and prioritise duties in a busy environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact with customers, staff, and management clearly and professionally.
- A friendly and approachable manner to assist customers, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive experience for all users of the parking facility.
- Ability to handle conflicts, enforce parking regulations, and make quick decisions in challenging situations.
- Familiarity with parking management systems, ticketing, and payment software, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office for administrative tasks.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Eligible to live and work in the EU.
- Current unrestricted worldwide passport.
- Provide three verifiable references.
- Able to pass a five year security background check as this role is based in Dublin.
