Role title
People Operations T&A Associate
Your role
As a People Operations T&A Associate, you will play an important role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll adjustments, absence management, and compliance reporting. You will manage data uploads, reconcile payroll and absence records across multiple systems (e.g. TMS, AIMS), and support audit and control processes for TMS. This role is essential for maintaining operational integrity and supporting both employees and management with payroll and absence-related queries.
This role sits within the Global People Operations team which is part of the People Organisation. The position reports into the Service Delivery Lead.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the TMS and AIMS interfaces for multiple payrolls across Ireland and the UK
- Compile and upload payroll adjustments for all payrolls
- Process ad hoc payments
- Perform recalculations of leave balances in TMS due to contract changes, absence related activities and provide balances to payroll for leavers
- Update new employee profiles on TMS
- Reconcile and validate absence data, including sick leave, annual leave, and occupational sick leave, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
- Manage and resolve escalated employee queries related to TMS and AIM
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries
- Support process improvements to enhance payroll and absence management efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure data accuracy and timely service delivery
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and ensure all processes are compliant with statutory requirements.
- Participate in system updates and testing of new functionalities for payroll and absence management platforms
- Support the implementation of new payroll or absence management initiatives
Your qualifications and key criteria
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience (2 years+) in HR Operations or HR systems administration or a similar role
- Good understanding of payroll and absence processes, including statutory requirements
- Familiarity with managing and supporting HR technology platforms to ensure smooth operations and accurate data recording
- Strong analytical skills, with a passion for solving complex problems through data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations and proven strength in storytelling with data.
Essential competencies/skills:
- High proficiency in data management and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills for supporting employees and managers
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Desirable Criteria
- Familiarity with audit and compliance processes
- Exposure to process improvement projects in payroll or HR operations
