Role title
M&E Transformation graduate
Your role
As a M&E Transformation Graduate in the Maintenance & Engineering Department, you will gain valuable experience in project management, and make a meaningful impact on the future of our airline. Our Maintenance & Engineering Department helps us to drive Aer Lingus’ by enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing resource utilization, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities as a M&E Transformation Graduate will include:
- Support the Transformation Office with the project management of the Transformation programme. Assist project owners in tracking project progress, identifying potential roadblocks, and implementing strategies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Assist in analysing data and conducting research to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Support the Transformation Office developing financial models to capture the benefits of the programme.
- Assist with financial reporting process collaborating with the M&E Finance Business Partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Engage with frontline employees to gather feedback, facilitate workshops, and ensure buy-in for transformation initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements relevant to Maintenance and Engineering.
Your qualifications and key criteria
We are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proactive and resourceful mindset, with a willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools is preferred.
- Passion for aviation and a desire to contribute to the transformation of Maintenance and Engineering practices in the airline industry.
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, commitment, and flexibility.
- Enthusiastic, curious, energetic and resilient in the face of a continuously changing landscape.
- Highly numerate with strong organisational and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable meeting discussing complex analytical information in an easy to relate to manner across the business.
- Takes accountability for delivery of tasks.
- Comfortable working cross functionally.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Eligible to live and work in the EU.
- Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.
- Proactive and resourceful mindset, with a willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative.
