As a M&E Graduate, you will develop early-career talent by combining structured learning with practical, on-the-job experience, while also providing meaningful support to the organisation’s operations. Our Maintenance & Engineering Department helps us to drive Aer Lingus’ ambition by ensuring that all aircraft, ground support systems, and critical technical operations are functioning properly, supporting the airline’s operational efficiency and safety during overnight hours. This role will involve both day and night shift.

Your responsibilities as a M&E Graduate will include:

• Manage the ongoing airworthiness of A320, A321 and A330 series aircraft.
• Assess Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness (ICA), such as:
   Airworthiness Directives (ADs).
  Service Bulletins (SBs).
  Vendor Service Bulletins (VSBs).        Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), and others.
• Oversee and review the approval process for modifications and repairs.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Standards teams to address and close
  audit findings.
• Prepare business cases and conduct risk assessments as necessary.
• Generate reports on Aircraft Reliability Metrics and Technical Dispatch Reliability.
• Collaborate with the Type Certificate Holder and Original Equipment.
• Manufacturer (OEM) for LRU root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Establish and enforce processes and procedures to maintain compliance with airworthiness regulations.
• Support the Transformation programme and contribute to the development of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage in Reliability improvement projects for continuous improvement, as required.

We are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:

• On track to achieve or have recently completed a relevant Engineering Degree (aeronautical or other studies related to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components).
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with others at various levels across the department as well as sharing ideas and information.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high levels of attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with ability to take initiative and assist colleagues unprompted.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications.
• Knowledge of PowerBI, Data management or Analytics.
• Can work in a fast-paced environment and keep pace with change – acquiring knowledge/skills as the business develops.
• Understands the transition from student life to working life.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Eligible to live and work in the EU.
• Current unrestricted worldwide passport.
• Provide three verifiable references.
• Able to pass a five-year security background check as this role is based in Dublin.
