Role title
CAMO Specialist AD&SB
Your role
As a CAMO Specialist – AD/SB in the Maintenance & Engineering Department, you will ensure that all aircraft in the fleet are maintained according to the approved maintenance program and comply with relevant regulations and airworthiness directives. Our Maintenance and Engineering Department helps us to drive Aer Lingus’ ambition by ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our fleet.
Your responsibilities as a CAMO Specialist – AD/SB will include:
- Monitoring Airworthiness Directive websites manually and via subscription for newly released AD’s, PAD’s, AOT’s etc.
- Check Bi-weekly AD reports to ensure all AD’s are recorded in AMOS.
- Managing the distribution and loading of AD’s in AMOS.
- Airworthiness Directive review and assessment, including the control and issue of documents identified as AD’s in AMOS.
- Manage and control AD’s relating to Airworthiness Limitation Sections (ALS) and Engine Life Limited Parts.
- Liaising with Engineering and Planning Departments about planning, accomplishment and verification of AD’s.
- Liaise with the A330 Service provider as required regarding A330 related AD’s.
- Chair the AD meeting and produce meeting minutes for all attendees and the wider department.
- Service Bulletins (SB) monthly meeting setup and Review Sheets recap from the different areas.
- Ensure correct distribution of SBs in AMOS to prepare the SB monthly meeting.
- Control the reporting back of ADs and SBs requiring it, liaising with the different Engineering Departments and issuing the monthly report.
- Support Airframe Systems engineering with topics related to airframe systems based on corresponding ATA chapters.
Your qualifications and key criteria
We are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:
- Hold an Engineering degree, aircraft maintenance technical qualification in EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 disciplines or 2 years working experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
- Understanding of aircraft regulatory requirements (Part M, CAMO and Part 145 etc.)
- Knowledge of working with AMOS.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in communicating with external and internal stakeholders including senior management.
- Safety training as defined by Part CAMO (Initial/Recurrent).
- EWIS training as defined by Part CAMO (Target Group to be individually assessed).
- Fuel Tank Safety Training as defined by Part CAMO (Phases to be individually assessed).
- General familiarisation course on the type(s) of aircraft operated.
- Ability to work as part of a team but also demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Eligible to live and work in the EU.
- Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.
