The FP&amp;A Analyst role is integral to the FP&amp;A function as owners of the budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning models of the organisation.

Reporting to the Financial Planning &amp; Analysis Manager, the successful candidate will support and work closely with CFO and Directors within the Finance department, as well as other senior finance team members and will focus on supporting a range of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual planning and reporting processes. The successful candidate will also support projects relating to various Finance and Finance system improvement processes, provide insightful and effective financial analysis for a range of Corporate and Finance functional requirements on an on-going basis, and support other Finance projects as required. Such financial analysis will have varying degrees of complexity, urgency, and system dependency.

 Your responsibilities as a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst will include:
Building and maintaining integrated three-statement financial models across the P&amp;L, balance sheet and cashflow to support budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, scenario analysis and decision support.
Forecasting and tracking cashflow performance, including monitoring key working capital movements, liquidity drivers and variances against budget, forecast and prior periods.
Partnering with the Network team to understand key movements in schedule and route assumptions and generate statistic packs for distribution and upload to the planning system at each forecast.
Providing in depth causal analysis as part of the financial planning processes ensuring alignment with current commercial and operational activity, transformation programmes etc.
Taking ownership of outputs and reports (including excel submissions and presentations to Aer Lingus senior management and IAG Group), ensuring that submissions are made in line with deadlines, and that requests for further follow up analysis and insights are provided on a timely basis.
Supporting development and continuous improvement of planning models, reporting processes and system-based solutions to significantly reduce manual effort and improve insight.
The FP&amp;A Analyst will support the following processes as required:
Quarterly forecasts.
Annual Budget.
3  Year and long-term planning processes.
Financial scenario modelling (including income statement, cash flow and balance sheet).
IAG Group reporting packs.
Aer Lingus Management Committee reporting packs.
Aer Lingus Board reporting packs.
Presentations to Aer Lingus Executive.
Finance Projects.
Ad Hoc reporting and accounting duties.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Qualified accountant, e.g. ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent with at least 1 year’s post qualification experience in industry or professional practice in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, advanced Excel and PowerPoint, and experience using Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools, with the ability to develop insightful presentations within tight timeframes.
Proven ability to systematically gather, test, review, monitor, analyse and report on financial information to a high standard.
Ability to become familiar with new systems and relatively large and complex data sets on a timely independent basis.
Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork and partnership skills with a collaborative approach.
Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to include proven report writing and presentation skills.
Experience of presenting financial information to senior management and to non-finance management.
Focused attitude to work, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines while ensuring excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Strong commercial focus, combined with drive and determination.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Eligible to live and work in the EU.
Current unrestricted worldwide passport.
Be in possession or be able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year background check* (or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in Dublin).

This dual-role position is responsible for the ownership of the RM systems portfolio –—including Sabre Revenue Optimiser (RO), Dynamic Availability, Sabre Sonic Inventory (SSI), Fares Manager (FM) and the new Dynamic Pricing system —including strategic optimization as well as the operational integrity of the systems and the development of RM best practices, driving adoption across revenue management teams and ensuring we exploit the full set of capabilities to drive maximum revenue for the airline.
Context
There has been significant change in the systems landscape in Revenue Management during the past few years and this transformation continues with the opportunity to introduce greater AI capabilities.

Key Accountabilities
System Management – Sabre RM Systems
Owner of the portfolio of systems used by Revenue Management teams including Sabre RO, DA, SSI and FM and future DP solution.  Partner with Sabre and other systems suppliers to maximize / enhance the capabilities of these systems to optimize revenue performance.
Lead configuration, parameter tuning, and environment maintenance across RM platforms to ensure data integrity and optimal system performance.
Best Practice Management
Define, document, and institutionalize RM best practices across forecasting, pricing, overbooking, and inventory control.
Evaluate and benchmark RM processes against industry standards; develop and implement training programs to uplift team capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with CSPO and Commercial teams to ensure RM systems support broader commercial strategies.
Partner with our Joint Business partners to ensure RM systems support commercial strategies
Team Management
 Lead, coach and develop a small team of analysts to achieve agreed objective and maintain high performance.
Set clear goals, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The ideal candidate will bring deep domain knowledge of airline revenue management, hands-on technical proficiency with Sabre tools, and a passion for continuous improvement in a high-growth, complex airline environment.
Essential Qualifications/Experience
Degree in Engineering, Business, Aviation, Data Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
5+ years of experience in airline revenue management or RM systems management; network carrier experience preferred.
Deep understanding of RM science: forecasting, optimization, segmentation, and dynamic pricing.
Proven experience in leading system projects, upgrades, or transformations in a high-revenue airline environment.
Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to translate between technical and business audiences.
Strong Excel, SQL, and business intelligence/reporting skills; experience with Python, Power BI, or Tableau a plus.
Aviation experience highly desirable.
